Passenger Fares
Metro Ride’s fare structure is designed to reward those who ride more frequently. To save money, consider purchasing tickets, tokens or monthly bus passes in advance of your ride. You can pay cash each time you ride, but the cash fare is higher than our pre-sold fares. (Note that drivers do not make change.) Elderly and disabled passengers can ride for half the adult fare by showing a valid Medicare Card issued by the Social Security Administration or a Reduced Fare Card issued by Metro Ride.
Monthly Bus Passes
If you ride the bus often, a monthly bus pass can be a real money saver. Ride as often as you like, to and from any destination, for just one monthly fee. Passes are easy to use. Just show the driver your pass each time you ride and forget about digging for change.
Junior/Senior/Disabled Passes are valid during the calendar month shown on the pass. They can be used by:
- Students (age 5 through senior high school)
- Senior Citizens (65 years and older with a valid Medicare Card or a Reduced Fare Card issued by Metro Ride)
- Disabled (with a valid Medicare Card or a Reduced Fare Card issued by Metro Ride)
Adult Passes are valid during the calendar month shown on the pass.
