Planning and Performance Reports

As part of the City of Wausau's participation in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, a series of reports are prepared and made available to the public. These reports are required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with federal regulations. They help to demonstrate how CDBG funds are being used to meet the needs of low- and moderate-income residents and to address broader community development goals.

These reports are created annually or periodically, depending on the nature of the document, and are designed to track progress, evaluate outcomes, and involve the community in the decision-making process. HUD's purpose for requiring these reports is to ensure that the city's use of CDBG funds aligns with national objectives, such as providing affordable housing, supporting economic development, and improving public facilities. These reports also allow for public input and oversight, giving residents the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the city's progress and plans.

Further details about each specific report will be provided in the sections below.
